My two mini-runners

Goal of going out for halloween is always to have fun with our family, get to know our neighbors , and allow the boys to dress up. I haven't posted any pictures of them yet!

Noah and Isaac got lots of compliments on their costumes of being marathon runners. They tried out a few different medals, hats, and bib numbers until we found the right combination for each kid.

The cousins decided to crash the party in the neighborhood too.

Thanksgiving Photos

We're so thankful for our house. We have space to invite others over more frequently. We were excited to host Thanksgiving at our house this year.

Jill, why are you smiling so big???

Me with 7 month old Isaac

Lots of little cousin playtime. Why they are all playing with a baby doll is beyond me...

The little kids had to eat in the garage. Noise stays outside and easy cleanup! :) And yes, we put a heater out there.

Grandma Judy feeding Isaac some sweet potatoes. How Thanksgiving-appropriate. :)

Paul is home from college and requesting extra time to sleep. Christine is checking out the black friday ads.

Grandpa Gary finds time for a nap on the couch.

Once he wakes up, Paul and Noah destroy the couch and construct a fort.

A heated game of Dutch Blitz... Ok, maybe not that heated....

Isaac gets to eat again.

Mark and Noah cuddle up with Noah's blankie to watch a movie, Marley and Me.

Isaac is eating again. All this kid does is eat....

Mesmerized by the movie

Hang out time.

Costumes!

Last week the boys dressed up in costumes as Bob the Builder and a froggy. Bob's costume was all borrowed or his own, and the frog was passed down from a friend. Gotta love spending $0 on costumes!

While I wouldn't saw we exactly celebrate Halloween, we did take the opportunity to meet some more of our neighbors that live around us and participate in our community. Eating Noah's candy afterward was a nice benefit too. =)

Pumpkins, Festivals, and Fall Fun

Recently we went with friends from MOPS to a nearby farm for the morning to enjoy the sunshine on a hayride, visit a pumpkin patch, and more!

Noah was excited about the "tractor ride" as he called it.

Although it is currently Fall, it felt that day more like Summer due to the strong sunshine!

Noah tests the pumpkins to see how heavy they are. This one, mom?

Maybe I can pick up this one??

This little one is just right!

It's fun playing in the pumpkin patch! Maybe we can pick out a Christmas tree here too?

Isaac and Ian rest in their strollers while their Moms are busy with big brothers.

What is better to drive than a tractor that has already been driven into the ground? I couldn't peel Noah off this thing for quite some time!

Mom, I'm driving!!

Playing on stacks of hay bales with other preschoolers. Noah enjoyed climbing to the top.

Check out this pumpkin tree! Someone put a LOT of time into this!

Last Saturday we went to the Fall Festival at the hospital where Isaac was born. There were fire trucks, ambulances, LifeLine helicopters, and so much more. Here's a helicopter that we toured.

There was quite a line to get inside the helicopter.

Noah's turn to check out the inside of the helicopter. This is right before he refused to get out and made me climb in there after him and chase him to the back of the helicopter! The paramedic was chuckling the whole time. (Thanks, Paramedic. When you have kids, see if you're still laughing!)

The Fall Festival also had a variety of animals, including Noah's favorite, the llamas!

Checking out a rabbit. Noah was reprimanded by the owner for poking the rabbit's eyes. Nice job, Noah.

It's getting closer to Noah's naptime...can you tell??

Finally, he just fell asleep in his stroller as we were leaving.

The church where I attend MOPS has a Fall Festival every year also, and we enjoy going to taste the chili and let Noah jump through the bouncey houses.

Grandpa Gary showed up somehow too!
