Stewart friends and babies!

This weekend we visited with some good friends from Stewart. All of these girls were in PC '03 except me. (I was in PC '02.) The four that got together are Amanda, me, Sara, and Shae.

Amanda has two kids, Joshua and Leah, both of whom are about the same age as my two. (They were both napping during this picture.) There's me with Isaac, Sara with her Isaac, and Shae with Bailey. All four of us had babies within 8 weeks last spring.

Here are the four babies in age order. Bailey (8 mo), Isaac (7 mo), Isaac (6 mo), and Leah (6 mo)... I don't know why it's sideways. I will try to fix it.

Noah plays on the baby swing at Amanda's house.

Me and Amanda, both former teachers, Stewart girls, stay-at-home nursing moms with two kids and too much laundry. =) Our two big boys Noah and Joshua have enjoyed playing together a few times in the past few months.

Pictures of me are so rare... I had to include another one that Jason took while I was playing with Isaac in the saucer.

Visiting Purdue for Homecoming

Jason and I went back to Purdue for homecoming last week, though we did not actually go to the football game. We posed together in front of MSEE building, where Jason spent many days and nights in the computer lab working on his programming assignments.

Noah rides on Jason's shoulders as Uncle Paul gives us a tour of the new engineering hall, Armstrong. I think Jason was a little jealous of the high tech lab equipment and facilities that Purdue first year engineering students get to use now!

He's a Marwood Man, he's the best in the land!! He is strong, he is brave, he is true..... da da da I don't remember the rest of the house song!

Noah found a few other little playmates while we were chatting at the Stewart Alumni brunch. Behind Noah are Joshua and Rowan, other Stewart alumni kids.

Chatting with Amanda, my big sis at Stewart. She is partially responsible for setting me up with Jason! :)

Noah finds some food to munch on at the brunch.

Hail Hail to Old Purdue..

We went back to Purdue this weekend for homecoming! It has been five years since Jason graduated and four years since I graduated. Stewart Cooperative, where I lived, had its annual alumni brunch before the football game. It was so fun to see old friends and catch up! These are some of the girls from Pledge Class 2002 and 2003.

We got tickets to the Purdue game with friends from Stewart also. Though the game wasn't Purdue's best ever (by far), we were in good company.
Jen and Aaron brought their sweet baby Noelle, who I got to hold during the game. She is so adorable!

Our seats were 5 rows up from the 40 yard line. It was really awesome to be so close to the action. As students, we were always stuck way up high in the bleachers in the student section.
Purdue's "world's largest drum" and the band out for halftime. An alumni band also played during the halftime, complete with alumni cheerleaders. =)

Purdue lost to Northwestern in one of the worst games I've seen (not to mention it started raining in the second half!), but all in all it was a fun time.

Weekend at Purdue

This weekend we enjoyed going back to Purdue campus for homecoming to visit Stewart and Marwood, plus seeing Melody's apartment, Paul's tiny dorm, and hanging out with Andrew. We didn't really even care about the football game (Purdue lost anyways!). I enjoyed visiting old friends at Stewart who I hadn't seen in several years. Jason found a few guys at Marwood that lived in the house the same time he did. Everyone wanted to hold Noah all day. Unfortunately, Noah was sick by the end of the day.

Jason and I at Greyhouse Coffeehouse, the Campus House ministry

Melody and Andrew (less than 9 months till your big day!)

Paul, the freshman engineer, holding Noah

Andrew holding Noah at Melody's apartment. We didn't actually watch the game there, because the channel wasn't allowed on Melody's cable. We just hung out instead and watched CMT and Ace of Cakes.

When is the last time Melody and I got a picture together? Who knows. Here we are on the Purdue Engineering mall, with some of the festivities behind us.

It was very, very cold outside! Noah had at least 2-3 layers on and blankets on top of that!
