11 months

Isaac is 11 months...happy, tiny, and getting in everything. It's humorous to me that at 19 lbs 10oz, he is roughly the size Noah was at 6 months! He's such a little peanut. His weight puts him in the 10th-25th percentile for his age. Jason says he was just like that as a baby, so maybe Isaac will be a skinny child too. Isaac likes most foods, but he does take the food back out of his mouth to look at it to make sure he knows what he is eating! It cracks us up!

Isaac is "talking" more, but we haven't heard him say too many words yet. We know he recognizes the words "no" and "milk." He has said the word "two" and babbles a lot "ma...ga...ba..." etc. Noah says he will help teach Isaac how to say Mama and Dada. (Meanwhile, Noah is calling me "Mom." Not cool!! My name is "MomMY.")

Midway through the month I finished nursing Isaac. He drinks 4-5 bottles/day and has done really well with the transition. It is nice that someone else can feed him from time to time while I am at work, exercising or otherwise busy. In another month, we'll move him over to whole milk. He still hasn't gotten the hang of using a sippy cup, so we need to work on that. Isaac loves holding hair while he drinks his bottle (probably why he won't do the sippy cup...).

This month has made me realize how old Isaac is getting. I am sad to be nearing the end of his first year. I am not a sentimental person about most things, but the one thing that I hold onto is our photo and video memories. I always wish I had taken a few more photos....the more you take, the more likely to have a few good ones!

Little bald baby will one day grow hair...
