What a great example to me and my family of true commitment and a lasting marriage. My grandpa married my grandma in 1948.......63 years ago! Through the good and bad times, the ups and downs of life, they remained committed to one another. They vowed to love one another for the rest of their lives and have so honored their vows. What an amazing legacy of selfless love they leave for their children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren!
I am blessed to be one of their 18 grandchildren. I hope and pray that I too can leave a similar legacy of commitment for my children and grandchildren.
