Day at the Museum with Daddy!

Though we had talked about it for a while, we finally took the plunge and joined as members of the Children's Museum. There are so many fun and exciting features to the museum, and with Noah at a ripe preschool age of 3 and Isaac in the exploratory world of 1...it was time.

Noah loves this place. We pull into any parking garage anywhere, and he immediately cries out, "Oh yes! The Buseam!"

In the exhibit about science, Noah really liked seeing the live aquarium with fish, turtles and a variety of other little animals and plants.

One of the perks of membership is free carousel rides. Noah and Jason picked out horses that go up and down. I chose a non-moving horse for Isaac. (Isaac was captivated by all of the sounds and lights on the carousel!)

The preschool area called Playscape is hugely popular with our children. It is full of age-appropriate activities for babies, todders and preschoolers. Water play and sand play are two of Noah's favorites. Isaac loved the foam climbing zones and colorful mats designed especially for children under age two. Popular with both of our children is the train table.

Last time we went to the Museum, Noah checked out the IndyCar race car. This time DADDY had to check it out too!

The museum is full of colorful art, including a glass sculpture made out of thousands of glass blown tubes. I thought it looked pretty cool, but I sure wouldn't want to clean it!

Jason was fascinated by the giant Transformer in the lobby area.
